Siam Sonata is an original piano composition by Nat Yontararak dedicated to HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s (Rama IX The Great) 75th birthday. The composition uses famous melodies of Thai folk songs from 4 regions of Thailand. Newest addition to the piece is percussions composed by leading percussionist, Lukasz Kurzydlo.

This concert tour showcases Nat Yontararak’s innovation in contemporary Thai music, seamlessly blending instruments from diverse cultural traditions.
The piano engages in a dynamic interplay with various percussion instruments, including the traditional Thai "Ta-Pone" drum, enriched by new percussion elements specially composed for the 2025 tour by leading percussionist Łukasz Kurzydło.
The performance also features the Thai Traditional Dance Ensemble.
This marks a phenomenal moment on the classical music stage led by Thailand’s top artists: Nat Yontararak & Łukasz Kurzydło.
With a successful career spanning over 50 years, Nat has garnered international acclaim for his compositions that uniquely represent Thai culture on the global stage.
Nat’s notable compositions (Thai Piano Sonatas) are all dedicated to HM King Rama IX on various occasions. All of which were presented to the late King:

Nat has showcased his music internationally at prestigious venues, including Isaac Stern Auditorium, Carnegie Hall, NYC.
Łukasz is a versatile percussionist, composer, and sound designer with a solid foundation in jazz, Balkan, Latin, and world music, seamlessly blending these styles into his playing. His unique style and versatility continue to make him a sought-after performer on the global stage.
